A minimum of two hours per interpreter is billed for each onsite assignment.
A minimum of one hour per interpreter is billed for each virtual assignment. No mileage or parking fees will be charged for virtual interpreting services.
All partial hours will be rounded to the nearest quarter hour.
Interpreting services will be offered at a 10% discount for Deaf-owned businesses and organizations.
Multiple / Team Interpreting Guidelines
Requests lasting more than 60 minutes may require two interpreters depending on the content and lecture style of presenter(s).
All assignments with more than 48 hours’ notice from the start of the assignment will result in no charge to the responsible paying entity.
All assignments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice from the start of the assignment will be charged the full requested time.
Client “No Shows”
When an interpreter arrives at an assignment and the deaf client is absent, the entity responsible for the payment will be charged for the full requested time of services.
Please be sure you have established a customer account online and presented authorized signature(s) on Source’s Terms & Conditions and Payment Terms documents, including complete billing information, before placing your request for interpreting services.
When requesting, please be prepared to provide the location of the appointment, start and end time, assignment duration, authorized contact person, his or her contact information, name of the deaf or hard of hearing client and any specific details pertinent to the assignment.
Advance notice of ten (10) business days is preferred for all interpreting requests. All attempts will be made to accommodate short notice requests with the understanding it is more difficult to secure interpreting services with minimal lead time.
